hi all

I have a 2007 avansis fitted with 4 rear parking sensors.

Is there any way to remove the sensor without taking the bumper off?

The plug located 3 inch from the rear of the sensor has broken and not enough room for my big hands to fit in to repair the wires unless i can get the sensor off. cant see how to remove it. any help please?

Are these toyota fitted reverse sensors or after market?

If aftermarket, the very simple, just pull them out.

If toyota, then there should be a guard on the inner side of the bumper, you have to unscrew that in order to take out the sensors.

Cheers.

If they are genuine toyota fitted sensors then there are 4 little 'feet' that need to be pushed in before the sensor will pop out.

But with you mentioning the plug on the rear is 3 inches from the sensor it makes me think they are non gen sensors so i wouldnt like to say how they remove incase you break them :)

Mart.
