Can anyone tell me the torque settings for the caliper mounting bolts?

I know I've seen this in the forum before, but can't find it now!

(1994 Rav4)

Cheers, watty

Hi Watty,

Have you looked in the pinned 'Technical hints/tips' section at top of page?

4.1 section has pretty much everything for braking on 1999-2000 versions.

Torque settings are near the end of the quite extensive PDF

Thanks for your reply,

I did look at that, but it seems to be for U.S. models and a bit later, so I'm not sure if they're the same calipers.

Just want to make sure, I don't want to break anything!

I'm sure Bothy or another 4.1 owner will look in later and I expect he will advise accordingly. As you say, best to wait for confirmation.

The US version is the same as the UK version but just released in the US in 1996.

The setting for the caliper mounting bolts is 20lbft or 27Nm.

Have fun!
