Trouble With Interior Light?

Hi All,

Bizarre as it may seem my (wife's) Carina 11 auto GLI executive petrol 2l (1991) when the Courtesy light is turned on no light & the car will not start.

I have checked the bulb & it looks OK !!

Any advice?

I would say that you have a short circuit somewhere. You better have a look at your electrical system. It is very difficult to say where it is. It might be with the courtesy light. I would have started there.
