Need Help On My Alternator!

Hi there everyone my alternator had failed to day :(

and i need some advice on where to get my alternator refurbished for a good price or to buy a second hand one off of someone on this forum.

part number:27060-16360

or 27060-16330 AFE Fits too

Please Help im in abit of a pickle on where to get one from and i know there are quite a few owners on this forum.

Hi,

Expect its not the type you can get an exchange one for from Halfords or the like.

I think the Lucas Electrical centers used to actually repair customers units - not sure about now.

Probably best enquire at some of your local Trade Motor Factors who will probably be able to recommend someone who can repair it for you.

when mine went bust i had it refurbished for £90 and mechanic charged me £25 for taking it out, transport to the refurbisher, bringing it back and reinstalling it in the car. apparently "not one diode hadn't been bust" lol.

that guy was in west yorkshire, i can try get his number from my mechanic if u wish?

dang! i paid £90 for mine refurbishing and i don't think he totally refurbished it, but rather just fixed the broken bits

got another 1 from a different car bolted straight on. £20 fairly new lol
