I'd have to look up what they used, but on out Dutch forum someone put a splitter from a Clio

or a Seat on his car. Only required slight modification and does look quite good I must say...

I'll have a look tonight, if I remember to do so...

Did some searching: this one is from a Renault Clio:

The one I had in mind is offline, so I can't show the pics anymore, but I DID find this one from a Seat Leon Cupra R:

I know the answer to this one! I used to be a member of the Fiat club and I ve attached a link to show how you can make this front splitter. Its actually from a RENAULT LAGUNA MK 1, and I remember them well, as they used to have them on all the boy racer cars in the old Max Power magazines. I used to wonder how they fitted them on cars, but its actually cut, and then joind back together to fit smaller cars.

Here`s the link folks. Scroll down to see the actuall pics of the Reanult Laguna splitter:

No need to thank yourself chap. Thanks AygoIronman.

Sadly i love my Aygo as it is without another chin, so will leave well alone.

Agree Blackrumple. Why does a car need a "double chin" anyway? Manufacturers spent thousand making a slim profile for low drag CD, and we stick, glue or tack on bits and pieces to make it less areo dynamic.

I ll thank myself again. "Youv`e been very helpful with your information, and thanks for the link. I like how you contribute to this club"

I'm no specialist in aerodynamics, but my gut feeling says this lip doesn't have that much of an influence, since our cars

have a "double chin" as standard: look under your bumper and you'll see a rubber lip across the width of the car...

Not having this lip can caus a LOT of windnoise... I once dug my car into a muddy bank, causing the lip to fold backwards

and stay that way because of the mud. Took me 3 days to find out why my car was so loud on the highway all of a sudden...

Yes, I noticed the small lip under the engine bay. It disturbs the airflow underneath the car to reduce noise.

I read the NEW Yaris Hybrid coming out next year has more emphasis on aerodynamics, and I read in last weeks Auto Express that the new Yaris has a FLAT floor plan to make the car slip through the air.

Here is a link for the new Yaris Hybrid:

and for those who dont know what I mean by a flat floor plan:
