P/s Headlight

hi i hav a 2004 avensis the d/s headlight is good but the p/s headlight is dull ive changed the bulbs ive put in some philips bulbs

ive taken the bulb out the d/s headlight and put it in the p/s headlight but result is the same ive checked the power output and its the same in both headlights im really confused

please help :ffs:ed

hi ive checked the earth its fine the reflector is melted a little on top

does anyone know were i can get a new reflector from

because the rest of headlight is mint and i dont want 2 change it ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED

Can it be reflector of that headlight, which may have lost its mirror effect or became dull.

Have you checked the reflector?

If the bulb is dimmer on one side check the resistance of it's earth connection.:)

Sounds like a good idea, try that way.

And yes you have to open the headlight unit in order to check the reflector.

Check the earth first and then go for rest.

does any1 hav any idea were i can get a new reflector from because i dont want 2 replace the whole headlight thanx

Try e-bay, if not than try german e-bay.

Had major problems with my avensis's headlights before I sold it. Had to replace them in the end and cost a fortune. I got a vitz.

Yes unfortunately thats avansis common problem,

If the reflector inside headlight is bad quality i can answer and help on private message.

Process do not cost the earth and its cheeper than buying a new one.

There is a great hack that works wonderfully for the dim xenon holders
