The yellow/gold looks ace mate but I'd say the gun metal matches the car but looking odd sometimes looks good if u know what I mean haha.

Hello,

thanks man!

Mine are replicas.

My silver 17 inch are 17x7, ET 38, with a 20mm spacer at the rear.

The new grey 18 inch I ordered are 18x7.5, ET 38 ;)

Hmm, the wheels have finally arrived.

But guess what, I received the wrong wheels!!! :ffs:

I ordered grey wheels with a polished lip, and I received complete grey wheels, WITHOUT polished lip.

I've already contacted the seller, and seems that the last set with polished lip has been sold last week.

I've got 2 options: send them back (he pays for return shipping), or keep them.

But I guess I will hear around, to see if I can't get the lips polished in a alloy repaint company.

If I get negative responses, I will return them.

Here are some pictures, but because of the light they seem bronze, they are pure grey actually.

Don't mind the text on the pics, I've done that myself, could be useful sometime.

Stickers will also be removed from the spokes if I keep them.

those wheels look smart :)....makes me want to change and upgrade my wheels :D

i have a question for you lol

you know the JDM tail light conversion you did on your car to make the inner lights come on with the city lights at the back?

well i wired up the inner fogs to the outer city lights on my car however they are too bright and people behind me flash at me lol

how do i make it the same brightness as my normal rear city lights?

as you can see below the inner lights are too bright?

The rims look GREAT! Why don't you make a photoshop with them on the car just to see how they look without the polished lip?

Because I really don't want them this way

It's too dark then.

Hmm, did some changes today (again :) )

Took out the 3000k xenon bulbs because I really wasn't so happy about the deep yellow colour it should have.

So I have put some normal yellow h7 bulbs in there (no xenon).

Here some pics of the difference.

It's not so bright, but I like the colour of it :)

Left xenon, right the new bulb:

Xenon:

And I also changed the numplate lights into yellow, because my sweet girlfriend said it looked like a rainbow (yellow, orange, white, etc) :P

The difference:

Did a testfit with the new 18" wheels today, to see how wide they would come.

Damn, I like it so hard!! :D

  • 2 weeks later...

i have removed my front ones but the glue is still stuck on the window so i need to get rid of it lol

Hey,

I have heated the glue a little with a hairdyer, and after that i've been using some thinner, and it came off very easy :)

And some news.

Because of the weather I took off the wheels again, but because I didn't have much time I couldn't put the suspension higher, so I quickly just changed the wheels (the stock ones because the car must be higher to fit the winterwheels).

Setup at this moment:

  • 2 weeks later...

I have carried my cleaned t-sport front bumper back to the body shop, because of some hard damage, caused by my dad...

He was bringing some big blocks of wood into the garage, but one big piece fell, right onto the bumper.

The whole front is full with scratches.

It should be fixed in begin march, I hope it will be ok :)

When I came home there was a package for me in my garage:

The 205/35R18 tires for the 18" wheels :)

Camberbolt vs original bolt:

Repainted my lug nuts:

Also painted the calipers and rusty things on the hub into black:

Result with the camberbolt (knowing that the lip of the wheel was sticking out first :) )

I know there will be people saying it's too much yellow, but I'm happy with it, the way it is ;)

Too much or not, ME LIKE :P :P

Now I'm going for a new alignment, really got alot of toe-in atm, both sides at the front.

Feels really insecure while driving.

Here a pic of the rear wheels:
