Ive got the 22mm rear while line roll bar fitted.

Im on Eibach springs, and on 205/50 16 tyres.

Will I gain any benfits at all if I purchase the white line 24mm front anti roll bar ?

Anyone got any experiances ?

Hi,

Thought we might pop in and give some information.

The benefit of sway bars is reduced roll and keeps the car and weight as much as possible on all four wheels and with less roll will keep the tyre patch on the road better than if is to roll over onto the edge and lose grip.

In your case having allready the rear the best way to know what the front upgrade will do is if the car is twitchy in the rear (oversteer) then adding the front bar will help neutralise this and give balance between for and rear keeping as much tyre contact of all four wqheels to the road and in the end it is grip we are all looking for.

I hope this helps you work out the benefits and if you have any other questions do not hesistate to contact us at

From what Ive read a front anti roll bar will stiffen up the front too much, creating under steer.

However this is just what i have read, so may be different in practice!

ive heard this as well (not heard of anyone with a front one fitted though?), quickest way to drive a front wheel drive car is with a little oversteer so unless its major oversteer id leave the front one and buy some uber sticky tyres with the money instead but thats just me lol

General rule for anti roll bars is:

Front wheel drive - fit a stiffer rear anti roll bar.

Rear wheel drive - Fit a stiffer front anti roll bar.

4 wheel drive - Fit a stiffer rear anti roll bar or both.

hope this helps.

well to let you nknow i have the whiteline uprated front and rear roll bars and my car is just amazing round corners dosnt over steer or under steer fair enough it is bout 10mm of the ground with b.c coilovers so this might be helping alot as well but before i only had the coilovers fitted and was fairly good handling after both roll bars fitted car was 100 X better. i dont no what like on other suspension kits but if you have B.C set up correctly and get both roll bars i actually swear by this for corollas

Depending on what car it is most will end up with more understeer with an added front bar so usually a rear upgrade with the front is the way to get it nuetral front to rear as we have designed our pairs to work well together.

Again this is true most front wheel drive will suffer understeer/torque steer from factory and usually a rear is the first way to go.On some models of car though say a Honda Civic are good with both front and rear as they are pretty nuetral from factory and just adding a rear will give too much oversteer when letting off the throttle.

In cases like that we usually offer a front bar as well and if this is the case you buy the rear and try it and if you feel this is happening then add the front bar but if it is all good with just a rear save the money from the front bar to buy other bits.

That is the general theory and great answer for most cars but as i said above some front wheel drives end up needing a front but most a rear is the best option.

Rear wheel drive is the hardest to work out as some cars like Imported Nissan 180/200sx and Skylines as example adding a front firts will just add to the undertseer that they had from factory as they come on to power quick Nissan designed them to understeer so people would not loop them around as easy in an accident as they want you to hit things front of as that is where the crumble zones and Air bags are at there best.

Commodores and Falcons though with the boaty feel in the front and extra weight a front is ok to start with.

Most times though your reply is the right theory.

If in any doubt we are happy to help just contact us on the email in my first reply.

I hope our information has helped
