Recommend Me Some Speakers!

I have decided to overhaul the audio in the truck.

After the warm and rich sounding BMW Harman Kardon system I have got used to, the audio in the truck sounds "thin", "harsh" and horrid.

I need to choose the Speakers to fit in the factory locations, 6.5” components at the front, 5.25 co-ax at the back. I want a nice “warm” sound, not a harsh one that is abrasive on the ears, - especially the days of iPods and what not.

I installed Infinity (6.5”) Kappa 60.7cs Speakers in my last Supra and they gave exactly the sort of sound I don’t want. (I think they call it “bright”)

I don’t want to spend a fortune, I don’t want a huge thumping setup, just something I can crank up if I want to without it hurting my ears and sounding rubbish! I use this vehicle to commute in and want to enjoy my music. Any speaker recommendations?

Current setup:

Alpine IVA-202r head unit (double DIN touch screen type job)

It's not audiophile stuff I know, but I have bluetooth hands free, DVB tuner and sat nav linked into it, so it stays. I'm also going to wire in a reversing camera.

I already have an amp, a Pioneer GM-X554, (4x50w RMS at 4 ohms, 4x100w max) again nothing flash, but a good solid amp, it’s an old model, but hardly used.

The truck is already sound deadened all over the interior, - I haven’t done the doors or tailgate yet but they are on the agenda.

I am thinking of setting a slimish 10” sub into the rear quarter with a fibreglass sealed enclosure, so it doesn’t take up space. (Considering a JL Audio 10W0v2, due to its fairly good reviews, and 122mm mounting depth) and running on a JL mono-block amp I already have. Obviously I’ll run proper cables everywhere.....
