Hi

Whats the best mobile phone holder/fixing solution anyone has come up with for the Aygo? I have the bluetooth system in my Go but im looking for the best place to locate the phone so i can charge it.

I have a different car, so can't really comment on the best place to mount a phone, but in my auris i have used a magnetic phone holder. Its a small round magnet that you put in a conveniant place, and stick a thin metal strip to the inside cover of your phone, and thats it.

Simple to install/remove, and is barely noticable when not in use.

The Brodit Proclip solutions seem to be popular, as they require no drilling in your car.

As for the magnetic solution: please remeber that magnets do interfere with some sensors within

a cell-phone: with a magnet present (or a strip of metal or an electric field from a wire) the

compass on an iPhone will go wild for example and then ask you to recalibrate over and over again...

I rarely use the compass on my phone, but every time I want to I have to

calibrate due to the magnetic clasp on the holster I carry my iPhone in...
