Hi Guys

Mine have just served one year and eight months. Is that normal? What are your observations?

As part of the 2nd year service, my dealer replaced the Battery in both fobs.

One year and eight months does seem a bit short though.

Igor,

I did change mine after about 2 years, but it didn't really need it.

I assume you are talking about the "keyless entry" one? i.e. you have a "start" button in your RAV and don't insert a key to start?

Those will probably be a bit heavier on Battery use. In and around the vehicle they are in regular communication with the car, unlike the standard remote entry ones, where it is just one transmission to lock/unlock.

Sorry, for may be not good translation :D -- sure I ve got only start button and have just changed a tablet inside No 1632. A warning signal has notified me when driven from work to garage. I ve measured the DC voltage and it was 2.93 V --the new once measured was 3.35 V. Cheers/Igor

Does your keyless go system equipped with door handle with induction button?

If it is, the Battery can used at least 2 years.

hello again

for sure it was 2nd tablet after original one. i ve asked the cost of it from MrT and have lost the last hair having known the price -- that was a reason of purchasing the same characteristiics tablet but OEM.
