Mirror Glass

Managed to smash nearside mirror glass today when I hit another wing mirror.

Motor and indicator work fine... is the replacement glass easy to fit (and remove!)

Same thing happened to me last year, other driver was on wrong side of the road and never stopped. I took mine to Toyota they fitted the complete new mirror. Fitting and cost of mirror about £200. I suggest let Mr T do the job for you.

With my previous car, the glass broke on my door mirror. The mirror housing was undamaged so it was just the glass which needed replacing. Dealer wanted to replace the whole unit, but my local motor spares shop were able to supply a stick on replacement mirror which was the same shape as the original. Only cost a few quid.
