hi all

basically the dial on the left for selecting the direction of the blower fan (windcreen, footwell, air vents etc) does not seem to be turning round completely to the left to select the 'face' airvents i.e it wont turn round any further than the position in the picture

IMAG0294.jpg

it usually clicks when each position is selected but it is definitely not turning round as far as it had done before. any ideas?

thanks

j

Have you had that panel out at all? The dials work on a simple cable system (similar the a conventional push bike brake cable, but the inner wire is less flexible), if the outer slips in the clamp the secures ut at each end, you can lose the full "pull" on the cable.

Take the panel off and trace the cable to the air box end and you should be able to tell if it's moved in the clamp. Check the control/dial end as well :)
