Does anyone know what this electrical box is for. It was found in my 1995 AE111 20V 4age Levin under the drivers seat.

Strange one.

It certainly doesn't look Toyota in origin. Perhaps an aftermarket part, such as a voltage stabilizer? Is the car fitted with a spurious alarm system? Could it be something like that?

Hello mate it looks to me like part of the alarm system maybe a glass break sensor or a radar sensor.

The adaptor (5+7 pins) looks like the one used for the OEM CD player of the car. Probably is an adaptor to connect an external multi-disc player. Also it could be something like an x-carlink i.e. an adaptor to play MP3s from the OEM radio Cd.

(Or generally something that has to do with the radiocd player of the car.)

This is my guess.

It's not anything to do with the alarm. I have checked out that. Its strange my mate has the same car, same year and he doesn't have it in his car.
