Corolla Verso Jerks During Hot Weathers

Hello,

I have Toyota Corolla Verso 2004, D4D 2.0 diesel, and during hot weathers (when temperature is about 30 degrees Celsius), it starts to je-rk, sometimes cuts off. There is no such problem in winter.. I had my EGR valve cleaned, fuel filter changed, air flow meter checked and air throttle changed, but still the same problem exists. "Check Engine" warning comes up, but after connecting my car to a computer, mechanics couldn't find a solution to my problem except for changing air throttle, which, as I see, wasn't the main problem.

Maybe somebody has any suggestions?

Regards, RemigijusLu

Hi, couldn't say for certain. But in my experience jerking and cutting out usually point to a fueling problem. Possible fuel pump problem caused by heat?
