Can Someone Help?

I just fitted my new side lights that arrived today, after I finished I had a little nose around the engine bay and noticed what looks like a vacuum hose that's disconnected?.

It's situated behind the air filter box, it's attached to what looks like a vacuum container thats part of the airbox?

If it's a vacuum hose and not a breather pipe where does it connect to as I couldn't find it? Thanks for any help.

In the picture you can see the hose is connected at one end where the arrow is pointing but the other end of the hose isn't connected to anything? thats what I want to know is should it be connected to something or not?

It's ok I'v found where it goes, just took the top of the air box off and could see on the side there's a little flat vacuum tank that's built into the airbox with a connection with no hose attached, should of just looked before lol.

Thank you.

yeah should be connected both ends will take a pic if you need? if you follow the other vacuum pipe on the top half of the air-box to where it connects, the one thats disconnected goes right next to it
