Carbon Fibre

Hi guys,

i was looking at some carbon fibre wrap or vinyl on eBay, i was thinking of wrapping my wing mirrors in carbon fibre, just wanted to hear your thoughts before i go ahead and buy it

maybe do the door handles too?

is it going to look nice?

See i am wanting to do my bonnet. BUT my friend does wrapping for a living, so i'll just get it straight from him! so i wouldn't know much about wants decent and wants crap!

I found some really nice looking eye brows that are carbon fibre just not sure if I should get them. It will either look really nice on my thunder grey t sport or look completely out of place.

What do you all think?

The best one to get is the 3m di-noc CA-421, if your doing on the exterior I'd suggest some primer to help it to adhere.

thanks mate had a read of that. sounds like it can be lacquered going to lacquer over mine to make it a bit brighter and easier to keep clean

I personally think that carbon wrapping, d-noc etc is a fast growing trend and fashion and before long every single car will start to look the same. We will all start to think how boring this is becoming and that will not take long.

A bit like the "Lexus" style rear light units, when they first came out everybody loved them but now nobody wants them.

Only my opinion and that is the reason I will not go anywhere near the carbon wrap look.

I think its ok if done with good taste in mind and not over done on each car Just my 2 pennies worth

Hmmmm i can see what you guys mean, but if i do it i will probably only do the bonnet and wing mirrors, not too sure on the roof or spoiler and the door handles
