If they are 190bhp from standard

Is it not possible to get 45bhp from

Full de cat system

CAI

Manifold

Cams

E manage

?

I'd imagine that lot would be worth 15-18bhp at most, returns from an NA motor is nowhere near what that lot of a turbo would give you.

Get the motor RR'ed again that give you the correct BHP.

Thats that wrap one that was up for sale by rota2010(otherclub)otherwise know as the T8TRD rolla guy. And as far as im aware that was just a 'inflated bhp' as i enquired about the same car a few months ago.

Ok Here We are after only buying the car 2 months back and the engine went "pop" after a couple of weeks.

So must of had a hard life before.

Anyway always come back stronger :D

Brother got the car back sat! Brand new short block :D

The next mod to do is black head light mod (like we did on his Yaris t-sport

And a front splitter to finish the front end off.

Having spend a few quid on it now I'm sure it will be in the family a while

Here are some pics from today

My opinion is that the car is not wrapped but re-painted.

The old color used to be silver (if I can see well).

When you wrap a car, you don't also wrap parts of the inside of the engine bay. See the part in the engine bay where there is the "stick" that holds the bonnet open (and the same part on the other side of the engine bay). It is painted in white color.

Ok, i believe you. :D They have done a great job. I think that white colour looks very nice on E12s.

it looks like the car is sat on 17" wheels, but has it been lowered? if so by how much and on what? seriously considering 30mm drop on Eibach pro-kit for my car. got them on a friends golf and they improve the handling 1000% yet altered the comfort by 0%, really good springs!

nice car but not like 235bhp,

235bhp is not impossible because;

my friend got 215 bhp with port-polished intake manifold & throttle, injen cai, ppe headers and 60mm straight pipe and hks back box on his tsport.

Have you any pictures of the injen cai?? Is it the one that goes down to the lower bumper?? I was told they won't fit, but still want one!

To get 45bhp from the stated list is pish.

1. This "manifold" the cts comes standard with a 4 to 1.

2. As far as im aware there is no possible way to decat this car without having a dash like a christmas tree or going into limp home mode.

3. The ecu has no known remap. It is also a self learning ecu in the cts.

4. Cams need a remap to run properly after stage one and after stage one you have to upgrade valves valve springs etc etc etc other wise it wont run for long before something snaps.

My 54 cts is currently <I thought I could get past the swearing filter - what a sad muppet I am eh?>ed.just spent 1300 on a top end rebuild and just discovered i have fried my conrod shells and scored a barrel. Just bought a 04 engine to strip for the bottom end.
