Heavy Boot

hi, just had my car repaired through insurance to rear shunt and now the boot is dangerously heavy.

the repairs changed the hydrolic pump on boot but has made no differance. the boot is heavy to lift, goes too high and slams heavy enough to cut someones hand off. the repairer say its not the plaster making boot heavy, but the hydrolic pumps.

has anybody got any suggestions?

really all it can be is the rams, how bad was the shunt?

take a look, would they have knocked it out first or just filled it?

Hey,

My insurers say their authorized repairers work is guaranteed for 3 years.

Sounds as if you have already been back to the repairers and not had the fault corrected.

Should make a friendly phone call to your insurer and say you are not happy with the repair and outcome that they have paid for and ask if they can help.
