Air Conditioning Click Sound

Hi Guys

Just a quick Question for you Rolla owners n Experts...

Had the car a year now...but only noticed this afternoon with my drivers door open...i thought i'd run my aircon for a few minutes just to make sure all is well...and i noticed as you press the aircon on...i hear like a loudish CLICK sound from some place in the engine bay...is this normal? The aircon feels ice cold when set to COLD and also gives out good warm air when set to HOT lol!

I would like to know incase there is a problem with it. Please advise...THANK YOU in advance guys!

If the clicking happens fairly constantly then yes it's normal. It's just the relay clicking and the pump doing what it should be doing and pumping the gases round.

It may be worth getting her re-gassed but if she pumps cold out then leave it be and relax.

Just the clutch on the pulley clicking in nothing to worry about

As said above its normal.

Its the electromagnatic clutch engaging to run the air con compressor.
