Auris Sr180 Towbar

Hey there,

Looking to fit a towbar to our Auris Sr180 D-4D. I have seen that on Towbars-UK, Tow Trust say 'not sports' and PCT Automotive includes it...

Just wondered what brand towbars anyone else had fitted? I'm watching a couple of Witter ones on eBay but don't know whether they will fit?

I can only guess that the PCT one is designed differently and goes under the bumper a lot wider?

I fitted a Brinks one to my 2.0 SR D4D without a problem, no bumber cutting required, just some cuts to the plastic undertray, but they will all require that. I believe that you get a Brinks one if you order one from Toyota as an accessory.

Thanks for that. I got quoted £380 from Toyota so ordered a PCT one at £92! Hope I don't have to cut!!

Just to update the thread for future references, the PCT Automotive towbar fitted lovely and NO cutting was required

I have a T180 with the Motorsport Skirting Kit. Would the PCT Automotive towbar fit with the skirt?
