Cylinder Head Missing Part

Hi All,

I am after the name of a part that goes on the cylinder. I have attached a picture of the cylinder head which i have purchased. I'm looking at the rear of the cylinder head, there is a small cut out gap which needs to be filled with the part that I'm looking for. Unfortunately the part which was on our old vehicle got left out when the new cylinder head was put into our vehicle. Could someone please advise what the name is. I'm told that on some head gaskets this part is present but not on this model.

well i am of work for another week, so when i a back a week monday i shall search it out

all my parts are at work as i dont have a shed, poor me eh, lol

mine should be from to a 2.8 3l engine,
