Hi folks

I'm thinking of getting an Auris hsd can anyone tell me what the acual MPG is we will use it mainly for short journeys of about 3 - 4 miles at between 30-50 mph. also what mpg do you get on a run with cruise on at about 70 -75

Many thanks

Checkout the stats on the following :--

I would say that neither of your journey choices for satisfactory results will be acceptable to you and are not the best scenarios to get decent mpg's with Auriss'

I find journeys over 50 miles and max speeds of 55 - 65mph give me my best results.

Cheers TerryB

I agree with Terry, neither trip profile will lead to the best MPG. Winter's the worst, summer the best. Both Terry's and my averages are hindered by the cold snap last winter, but I guess that's why they're averages! You can see my Fuelly profile by clicking the banner below. I do lots of trips around Northampton between 3 and 6 miles and of course warming up the beast never gives great consumption.

I find 65 MPH in ECO with cruise on motorways to return reasonably good mileage - you can do better without cruise and slightly slower.

YMMV!

Mike
