Just went to get my tyres changed and found one of my wheels was buckled beyond repair.... the rest seem ok, so I'm looking for a single wheel to replace with.

I've scoured eBay, some local breakers and some specialist on eBay .. but not seem to have any.

Any thoughts?

it's a 16" alloy, picture attached.

I've got a brand new genuine (Boxed) Toyota full set of 17" Avensis alloys that I dont need if you're interested. PM me if you want any more details.I'll be letting the full set go for less than it costs for 1 new wheel from the main dealer.

Looks like a new one cost £153.66 from the dealer.

to suit a 2.0 D4D or a 2.2?

If 2.2 & the op isn't interested I may be.

Mistermena if Heidfirst isnt interested let me know I could take them off your hands. Just to check are they to fit your t180 /T25 avensis? I could do with a second set to stick some winter tyres on. If they were 16"s I would have bitten your hand off. Cant find a set of reasonably priced 16" wheels for the avensis anywhere. Ive got 17" fitted but have been looking for a set of 16" so I can fit some snow chains on as and when I visit the inlaws during the winter in the back of beyond. But a set of 17" with winter tyres would be better then my current set up. Just hope it would be enough if not atleast its safer normal driving.

good privce for 4 of them!

Yer mate they will be for someone off the forum. If I put them on eBay then I'll be putting a very high reserve. I'd much prefer someone off here to have them tbh.:driving:

Hiya mate. I originaly bought them as a spare set to put winter tyres on for T-180. But I managed to get 5 new genuine Avensis T-180 alloys so these are just sitting in my spare room looking for a car to go on. I always wanted to get a spare set of T-180 alloys but they are so rare to find and they demand very big money. But winter T-180's on with tyres so Mrs is a happy bunny

I'm really looking for 16" ..... Ideally just a single wheel (to match what I have) as opposed to a new set..

Does anyone know of any good Toyota breakers, or perhaps allow wheel salvage specialists??

Just be aware everyone the wheels from a 2.2d4d will not fit a 2.0d4d and so obviously the 2.0d4d wheels won't fit the 2.2d4d whatever the diameter.

Pete.

i had those alloys on my 06 1.8 a few years ago and in the winter i grazed a kerb, literally the lightest of touches in the snow and it ruined the o/s/f wheel, had to put it on the back to lessen the effect through the steering....guess the point is thats a really weak design.

Well I'm hoping to get some pictures of the alloys wheels with the part numbers taken tomorrow and then I'll post them on here to see if anyone is interested in the 4 alloys. If not then they'll be placed on eBay with a reserve.

Well, I needed my problem fixed quickly, so I went for the new identical wheel from the dealer ... two new tyres and a big hole in my wallet... but car back on the road and no more vibrations from the front end... I'd forgotten how smooth this car is on motorway runs!
