It's only a CD player, so can't see a way of getting a DVD to play on it.

I had modified my satnav unit the TNS510 to take a custom rear view camera and documented it on here. A couple of days later i had an idea to play video i.e. films etc so I modified it some more and now it plays streaming off my iPhone , youtube Facebook twitter whatever you want really plus all my music video's and films. the socket you see in yellow is the video in phono socket and you can see a black dust cap on it. The blue lit button is to operate video in.

Yes and you could fit it out with some gadgets and dare I say LEDs. Come to think of it David, take a look at what I built a few years ago and with LED back lit glass shelves. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRwzcgtaaYk&feature=youtube_gdata_player

And this

Hopefully you approve.

Probably not, I only work with wood. I'd rather leave it to the experts. HaHa!

Could you see where you were going while watching TV HaHa!!

No I must admit that's a neat solution, so if anything techky is required, we just ask David AKA Tarquin to do it.

No Elliot its not Its far more complicated It requires putting certain voltages on control pins via steering diodes. If the diodes are not used voltage goes back to the ECU and upsets it BIGTIME !!

If that happens you have to first pray then disconnect the Battery and wait 30mins , reconnect and hold your fingers crossed while the ECU re-builds its map.

Elliot,

Please stop SHOUTING!

In the forum world, using the Caps Lock is equal to shouting. My ears are bleeding wink.gif

To be honest Ellott, You won't find anyone, Its my own investigative design, there is no information anywhere documented. I drew and developed the circuits myself. Also the development of a DC voltage inverter not available on the open market.
