Compressor Power Curve

Hi all. I have recently replaced my corolla tsport with a compressor. In the old tsport when the revs hit 6000 there was a big surge of power, in my compressor there is no noticeable surge at all.

What I want to know is, have I bought a nail, or does the supercharger even things out so there is no surge?

many thanks

No thats fine. If you feel the change over there is a problem, you may feel abit of a shunt thats fine. Upload some pictures mate.

As mentioned above the super charger smooths out the power delivery but this means you can enjoy torque all the way through the rev range. The effect is similar to what happens when you supercharge a VTEC lump.

Enjoy the motor mate.
