Heater is working on 4 but not on 1,2 and 3 seems strange is there 2 different fuses for them

any ideas

As nrgizer says it's the resistor pack thats gone, not sure on a corolla but you'll normally find it in the ducting by the blower motor somewhere.

Does anyone have any diagrams as to where this pack is I wonder and what it looks like

I'm going to order a new part on Monday

According to the Haynes manual its located on the blower motor housing - see below.

You can check the resistor pack with a meter, the maximum between any pair of terminals is 6 ohms, minimum 0.5 ohm.

Expect if faulty, you should measure as Infinity.
