Vibration Through Gas Pedal?

Hi.

I have a 2004 Avensis wagon 1.8l and i only recently bought it. I noticed a slight vibration at certain revs that i feel with my toes trough the gas pedal. The pedal isn't vibrating, but it's more like a mechanical feel through the pedal.

Does anyone know what this is? I've never felt this on any other car i've owned.

Check your tyres/wheels aren't warped/buckled. Next thing is...does it vibrate worse when braking? If so then possibly warped brake discs.

Yes it could well be wheel balance. should be the first thing to check.

Does it do it at the same mph in different gears ?

It's not that kind of vibration. It's only felt through the gas pedal and is a very fine vibration, nothing like a warped disk or wheel alignment. It's almost like something connected to the pedal is picking up vibration from the engine.

It may not make any sense, but that is kinda how it feels like. Like the pedal is somehow mechanically linked to the engine and engine vibration is channeling to it.
