After completed that re-furb of original wheels (whilst MA61 wheels getting re-furbed)

Just popped over to my mates garage to see how the KE was getting on..

Some progress :-))

My mate said hes never taken off bolts from an old car bumper as easy as this... He said the were flippin' new :-)))

I said you better not lose any bolt then !!!

The only crappy bolts were the mud flaps... :-((

Lovely looking car Mr KE 70, i hope you don't mind me asking - what is it like to actually drive.

Also whats the story do you know with the E11 (97 to 02 type) Corolla Saloon in a couple of your pictures - i never realised they sold the saloon

in the UK (i know they did with the predecessor 92 to 97 type) - Irish import???.

Best wishes with the car

Thought id resurrect the thread :-)

Was feeling bored and after cleaning up the garage over a few days I was seeing what the KE looked like with

different original Toyota Wheels...

Heres what the car looked like when I bought it:-

Original Steel wheels.

0023.jpg

Then after its clean up.

Celica Supra MA61 wheels.

059.jpg

Then tested the Corolla AE86 GT wheels.

004-4.jpg

And finally the Celica TA22 GT/Corolla TE71/Carina TA60 wheels.

Really really love the car. I had the EE80 and a close friend of mine had the KE70 (he still does). We had tons of fun with the KE70 especially with the rear wheel drive on rainy days!

Congrats for your fine work on the car and the appreciation you show to it.

Keep up the good work!

Hi You have a beautiful classic car I have been looking for that type of model For a very long time just can not find it I was very shocked to see somebody actually has the same love for that car as me And a very look after car . Most of these cars I think ended up in Pakistan That's why there is none available in the UK . If you do you know anybody selling the same type of model please do let me know or even if you would be interested in selling at some point to remember me
