Hi Everyone finally purchased my 1.8 verso 2006 model after months of looking at different ones and trying to find one with half a service history.....

However It's in need of new brakes all round i would like to get a decent set but im puzzled at which ones to buy i have been on eurocarparts with my reg number

and it offers 295 dia for the front and 256 dia for the rear, now i have also looked on the brakebook.com for part numbers for mintex discs

parts numbers MDC1802 for the front and MDC1840 for the rear but the rear discs are shown as 290 dia not 256 ?

So in short are the discs on the back 256 or 290 ?

Maybe a bit late for your reply but I haven't been on the site for a while.

I have a 2005 1.8 t-Spirit which I renewed all the discs a couple of months ago and the rear was 290mm. I'm quite sure yours will be the same, however, it's easy to check without taking the wheel off. Looking at the disc through the wheel spokes hold a rule against the wheel and line up so that you can measure the disc diameter. Don't worry about being accurate with the measurement, you will clearly see whether your disc outer diameter is closer to 256 or 290mm.
