Radio Swop

I want to remove the standard factory fitted radio from my 2012 Aygo Go and fit my old JVC head unit from my old car. I just spoke to my local well established car audio specialist who says that he thinks it is not possible for some reason and he would have to take a look to confirm this.

Is this correct as i thought you could get facia plates to suit this.

Thanks.

take the front dash panel off, and un-clip it and slide it out, get a fascia and there you go :)

Many thanks for that, i will go ahead then.

Can anyone recomend a good facia plate as i know some aftermarket stuff can be of poor quality and don't line up well.

Well i finally got round to fitting my own head unit to replace the standard one.

No problems were encountered and the plugs were the same and all i had to do was swop over the yellow and red wires to get the correct power input.

With my model it renders the built in Tomtom useless but i am not bothered about that anyway.
