Quick question: can I replace my broken radio/cd player w53900 with a 2nd hand w53904? They look exactly the same?

Assuming that they are the same dimensions - you will need to check that the connectors in the rear are the same.

Either check for images for both on google images or;

Check that the same iso adapter fits both units

I can see that your original unit is available on eBay (reconditioned with a guarantee)

i have changed my cd & cass player with the mp3 version. all the commands are the same.

so i have a 2nd hand one. if you are interested , let me know
