Lazy Auto Box

Can anyone suggest a cure for my 02 reg Corolla Verso auto, it occasionally is slow to change up to overdrive, if I switch off the overdrive then switch it back on again it will change up immediately. Wondered about changing the gearbox oil or is it a fault in the ECU. Toyota dealer when asked didn't seem to think it a problem (under warranty at the time but not know)

I have to use an AUTO box in my cars,

I have a Yaris MM,and Corolla 1.3 Auto,I was reccomended by an Auto box engineer,to change the oil every 3yrs,

it will clean out debris,and keep the parts clean and fresh,

nothing to loose,try that first.

Cheers..it did cross my mind to try an oil change but when the Toyota "experts" say its not necessary I did wonder.Thanks
