my verso which i got in oct 2011 has developed a secondary rev when you take your foot off it,which if you`re not ready or otherwise occupied, makes the car lunge forward.anyone else notice the same problem with theirs?

no not really i take my foot off and it keeps going up to about 2500 to 3000,i remember an old escort that done the same, but that was because the carb was wrong shape for intake manifold.its like an echo of when you just push the accelerator with your foot,(god its hard to explain lol)

this is hard to explain, when you press the accelerator and take your foot off,it repeats the press all by itself(a bit like brumm brumm but your foot is off the pedal)it repeats the action intermitently, not all the time, forgot to say its a petrol not diesel,1.6 manual
