No Power To My Usb

Hi

I'm trying to connect my iPod or USB memory stick through the USB port in the new Yaris's glovebox, but there seems to be no power going to the port. The sticks don't light up and my iPod doesn't say connected or charging or anything. I've got the media player function turned on, but everytime in the devices list the USB selection is grayed out.

Can someone please advise me as to whether there's some sort of switch I need to turn on, or if there's something else amiss?

Cheers

Neil

Hi Neil, It's not written in the manual, or stated anywhere ! But, the YARIS USB port

supports only up to 4GB devices. If you try to use any USB stick or whatever

above 4GB, there will be no response on the Touch screen.

This is very odd...... because I've tried out 8GB on a new Auris, and Prius, Touch screens, and on these all is fine and working.

Hope this helps you.

I use a 2gb stick and it works fine..not tried it with anything bigger but may just do so to see if does have to do with the memory size...
