Hi Guys,

New to toyota's, always had german cars previously.

Just purchsed a 2006 toyota T3 Yaris and have a few questions, standard stuff I bet for you guys but reassurance helps in the years I hope to own the car.

Soon as I got the car first thing I did was to get oils and filters, in the process of jacking the car up, found out that when jacking the car at the front, the jack bend to one way.

Pic attached.

Sorry you have had to wait so long for a reply. Welcome to the site by the way. I have the earlier model (2002), but I think jacking points are identical - it might be worth confirming this with your local dealer. Here is a diagram of the jps on my vehicle (from the ower's handbook):

Hope it is of assistance.

Yes, the mk 2 Yaris is the same. I personally wouldn't use the rear trolley jack "protrusion" for fear of the car falling off the jack head due to the "pointed" nature of the jacking point. I also found, the one time i tried it, that it's too high and a really high lift jack is needed.
