Putting The Engine Management Light Out

Hello,

Just had my car, Corolla on the test gear at my local garage the car is a 1,6 auto under 38000 on the clock the machine at the garage shows a code no 0705 which relates to the auto transmission but typically won't give the exact problem a site I found on GOOGLE indicated this refers to the neutral park switch, the car is running perfectly normally with the starting procedure being as it should, the GOOGLE site indicated the problem could be a wiring problem (looks normal) or dampness in the NPS this looks ok and at such a low mileage surely can't be worn out the car hasn't had any water ingress "they asked me had this happened" the only problem is how to extinguish the warning light, HELP.

Regards Harry.

PS car is 55 reg.
