Egr Valve - Corolla Verso

Hello, Hope someone can help.

I have a 55plate Verso (2.2 D4D) with EGR value issues. Light coming on a few mins after the codes have been reset. Cleaned the area out, hoovered etc, which did not make a difference, so going to replace the part.

Anyone else had it done? What is my expected cost? Better to go to Mr T? Or local auto electrician?

I cannot seem to find a part on-line, anywhere! Going to ask Mr T for a price. However I have found 2.2 D4D Avensis EGR Valves - are they the same?

I have no idea of finding out how to check?

Hello!

I had the same problem, VSC+TRC+engine lights came on together. Tried to clean the EGR on my own by brushing it with tooth brush and a kind of alcohol to remove the soot. Did it three times. No improvement :( . Had it done by toyota garage and still running well since then :) . No need to consider replacing it in first place. Good luck.
