Windscreen Washer Nozzles

For some reason I have been struggling for ages to adjust the washer nozzels on the screen. The usual pin method does not seem to work. The rear is Ok, just the fronts have a mind of their own. Is there a secret?

The USA repair manual says that only Toyota's 4 way adjustment tool should be used to adjust the nozzle. I thought the repair manual was funny, it reads, "...insert the bumpy part of the adjustment tool into the bumpy part of the nozzle jet...".

The nozzle jets are apparently made from resin and could be damaged by using a tool like a metal pin. I have never needed to adjustment mine (hardly ever use the windscreen washers tbh), and I must admit I'd have probably tried using a pin! :giljotiini:

I loved my Imp, even if it did tick over like a Gypsy Moth, looked like the wheels were falling off and needed the occasional squirt of ether into the chokes to get it to fire.
