1998 2.0 Td Fault Code 9

hi, i have a 1998 avensis 2.0 td that wont start. the mil is on so i did the paperclip test and retreived fault code 9. cant find a list to tell me what this means. can anyone tell me what this code definition is and what exactly it means or where i could find this info. thanks for reading guys.

Does your speedo work or have you had a problem with it??

A code 9 would not stop the engine from starting

thanks phil01. thats great to have those codes even if it isnt my problem this time. didnt notice any problems with the speedo. when car is cranking it does attempt to start but can also go from normal cranking to a faster speed of cranking. thanks again for the codes.
