It's been coverd before, but I'd like to further clarify a few things.

First thing I want to get out of the way is the issue with putting the tank in the front - should I understand that it'd mess up the handling too much? I'm thinking of removing the spare tyre and fitting an appropriate tank in its place (up to 30l). Another possible issue is that the tank would be at a slight angle in this position.

The other logical option is putting the tank in the boot. My priority here is compactness and lightweight, so I'm willing to put a tank as little as 20l. I wouldn't like it taking too much space in the boot.

I can't think of any other place but I might be missing something, note that I absolutely wouldn't consider replacing the stock petrol tank altogether.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.
