Carina Suspension

hi everyone have a carina e 1994 2.0 i trying to fix rear suspension but trying to install new trailing arms could not get bolt out of back of wheel hub carrier , bolt rusted solid to center of bushing so lost the plot and took the grinder out have chopped the bolt out and removed the bush does anyone know where to get replacement bush as dealer no use trying to sell me full hub carrier at £180.00 have

Toyota have never supplied the bushes seperatly, you can only get them in the hub, so your dealer is correct on that

Your only other alternative is to find somebody like Polybush who may be able to help

found a bush on rockauto web site carina e trailing arm suspension bush with royal mail postage so it must be from uk postage and VAT £12 thats a bit better as cheapest polybush -powerflex was over £60 will let everyone know if it fits

Did you succeed?

Is the trailing arm the same as is described as the transverse link or control arm?

I'm having a problem sourcing a replacement control arm - adjustable link - squeaking a whole lot.
