Anyone Had A Problem With A Baby In The Back.

My girlfriend has to sit in the back with the baby whos in a car seat. She complains theres vibratration and bouncing in the back. I dont feel much in the front but compared to my ford focus you do feel every bump on the road. Why is that ? is it to do with a better or worse suspension or a sportier suspension, or a difference in tyre types between the cars. Throw some ideas or facts my way cos I dont want to have to sell my car.
