Touch & Go Safety Camera Alerts

Hi I am a new member so hope I am following the correct procedure. I have just bought a 2011 Verso with a touch and go sat NAV. I am having problems switching on safety camera alerts. I assumed it was automatic but having passed some safety cameras and not receiving any warning I assume I need to do something to set up alerts.

Any help would be appreciated.

Probably best to visit the TOUCH AND GO portal, you can watch "how to" videos on there, it's free, but you do have to register first

  • 1 month later...

Just had a similar experience with Touch and Go on my Prius.... I found that the only warning I was getting was that the speed limit sign on the maps turned from white to red. HOWEVER - I tend to use the sat nav with the voice guidance turned off. So today I tried putting volume up, & not setting a destination (long story - I normally use the satnav for my daily 50 mile commute just to get a handle on what time I'll be arriving home, so voice guidance is more an irritation) SO with voice turned up and NO destination set, I WAS getting notification of exceeding speed limits. Don't know about camera alerts..... around our way the majority of cameras are in mobile vans, so the alert warning is a bit pointless. Also have yet to experiment more with guidance set AND exceeding speed limit (just to see if the warning is given).
