Bluetooth Paired But No Audio

Hi, I've just bought a 08 Auris T-Spirit and managed to pair my phone (HTC One X) to it OK (after deleting the previous paired device). I can also select 'Toyota' as a speaker on my phone, but nothing comes out of the car. I've tried restarting the phone, and the car does tell me that the phone is restarting, but still no luck. The car has a Apple cable coming out of the glove compartment as though some kind of Apple kit has been fitted. Would this be over-riding the bluetooth audio ? Apologies if I'm talking nonsense !

Any help very much appreciated.

Cheers

I don't think so, but I haven't tried hooking a HTC to my Auris. On my 2010 HSD, you have to pair the phone to both the phone side of the audio system and the bluetooth audio side as they seem to operate independently (with my iPhone anyway). Hope that points you in the general direction...

Great. Cheers Dave - that makes sense. Sorry to be a pain but (from the Auris side of things) how do you pair a phone with the bluetooth audio side. I only set up the bluetooth phone side by fluke :) I've googled it and had a root around on here but can't find it.

Thanks for your help.
