Timing Belt

Your car has a chain not a belt. It is supposed to last the life of the engine, so long as you change the oil regularly, plus mileage and how driven can be a factor.

The chain can stretch and guides wear. Somebody with experience of your engine may confirm.

One thing less to worry about.

Does anyone know is a 2008 2.2 D4D has a chain or belt? Mines done 112000 miles and I have no history of a timing belt change.
