So.. The only thing left here is to present my StarVan... So...

Here it goes some pictures of my beauty before and after some things I changed... ;)

Hope you like it...

Here she is on day 1!!! One of the happyest days of my life...xD

0107112010.jpg

I only have that photo of day 1... But now comes the photos from day 4...xD

Some minor differences... The muffler tip, new plates and repainted the rain wippers arms since they were in bad conditions. Now they are shinny!!!xD

2307111102.jpg

Don't mind the rims...lol

2307111213.jpg

Now my E12 gear knob... PRETTY!!!

2008111849.jpg

And the interior with original Toyota floor mats.

2008111850001.jpg

The new rims were a fight to chose but I decided I wold go for a 5arms rim with polished metal and black polished interior.

Here she is with new shoes...xD

Also I had new tyres with new size. They were 175/65 R14 and now they are 195/50 R15 and the tyres are Bridgestone Turanza ER3000. Wonderfull tyres by the way...xD

I can go around a dougnut turn at 80Km/h and she doesn't squeak. ;)

I also installed white lights, blue bulbs, so the little eye is blue at the distance... Really beauty...xD

Also I'm doing some experiments to put mesh on the lower grill. This was just to see what it would look like because when I have some time I'll remove the front bumper, cut the horizontal bars in the lower grill and insert the mesh on the inside of the bumper. Paint the lower grill on black and it should look really nice... What do you think about that?

So, this is my beauty...

It still has a lot of work to be done to it.

So far I've done the fallowing:

  • Frameless wipper blades;
  • Painted the wipper blades arms back in black;
  • changed the licence plates;
  • New tyres and rims;
  • E12 gear knob;
  • Mufler tip;
  • White light bulbs;

Now the things I have left to do:

  • plug the fog lights I already have;
  • SR grill;
  • Front Lip;
  • Darken the rear windows;
  • New sound system;
  • G6R Steering Wheel;
  • Lower springs;
  • New trunk (all made in light wood. Have to make the sides and 2 boards. The I'll put a thin layer of rubber and then dark grey napa leather);
  • Side Skirts;
  • Red lights on all the dash;
  • New Paint job (dark grey with 2 stripes on the driver side (one more thinner than the other)

Done some things but still have alot work to do as you can see... ;)

Cheers all!!!

Thanks mate.

I forgot to mention the new paint job. I plan on painting her dark grey with 2 black stripes on the driver side (one a little more thinner than the other) so that I have a light and subtle combination of colors (grey and black).

My paint shop is really bad. It's sun-burned and begining to crack on the roof and hood. :(

The knob shines so much that when is really sunny like today, if the car is at the sun, when I'm going to drive it burns the hand on touch... lol

But looks really nice. ;)

Hey there.

I just bought the rele for the fog lights. smiley.gif

02152FA.jpg

It's a 12v/40A.

Do you thinks it's enough?

Also I'm thinking about not buying the covers that fit on the side of each fog light and instead make a mesh cover.

Do you thinks it's difficult?

Cheers

Mesh can be good, did you think of using metal or plastic mesh ?

Its fine but wont fit the toyota curcuit board as its the wrong shape.

I have one you can have with the indicator stalk so it remains oem

I'm thinking of using aluminium mesh.

Damn then... But I'll try and see if this one is the right for it but if you offer that one with the grill and fog stalk than I'm thankfull to you Steven... As always...xD

It honestly wont fit in the slot mate :( and youd have to butcher the wiring loom to get the one you bought to fit.... Which is silly really!! So id rather give you one when i send the grill and indicator stalk as i have a couple spare here anyway ;)

Yesterday night I found that I had 3 reles like the ones I bought. -.-

So I didn't had to spend money on it and now I found through Steven that it wont fit... :(

But Steven saved the day! xD

You'r the man Steven!!!

I applied fog lights on my E12 and the relay was really like this

Ok.

So the other relay will be stored to gain some dust...lool

Yes I do like your E12.

I think the E12 "normal" is a little wobbly... To high and to short... But with the TTE kits or some exterior mods it really boosts the car looks. It goes from wobbly to really cool looking car...

But it can't beat the E11...xD

A LOT better!!!xD

My dog was happy to see soo much bubble wrap (he loves to pop it...xD)

The other parts I'm gonna see If I can re-paint the steering wheel since it has the right side with a grey tone instead of the black tone...

The stalk is going to be fitted at the same time as the steering wheel...

Now the mesh grills, I got to buy the mesh and study the best way to fit it in...

Haha my boss at work wantted to know why i was pinching heaps of bubble wrap :lol:

As the steering wheels leather you can get the leather kits that contain the colour and laqure on eBay. There quite cheep and i was going to have a go myself but didnt want to mess it up :)

The balls well and truely rolling with the car though :) good stuff :thumbsup:
