Strange Green Led On Dash

Does anyone else have a strange green led below the instrument panel that sometimes flashes when you do things like put the indicator on? I have no idea if it was an after market thing, or added by Toyota when the tow bar was fitted. It lights up randomly but not all of the time. I just can't work it out...

tow bar indicator flasher warning light, a legal requirement if towing to show your trailer indicators are working

it should flash just the once when you use indicators solo and flash all the time when plugged into the trailer
