Upgrading The Rear Skeakers In Avensis 2012

The rear door Speakers sound realy bad, so I'm looking for replacement Speakers. what size would fit in the exisisting holes ?

Does the original HU (touch and go) have pre-amp line outputs for external amp ?

Search the forum using 'speaker help needed'. You will find my response and get an idea what to expect, even though the cars are different.

I you install quality Speakers, the existing stereo should cope.

As I said to you in your other thread, remove the door card or get an ice installer to assist.

You may be the first to upgrade the speaker and then can advise others.

Thanks. I found the other thread which has very useful info.

I guess I'll have to take off the rear door panel to see what Speakers Toyota installed in the 2012 model, and continue from there.
