Avensis Estate Gear Linkage

Hi

My gear linkage has gone and has to be replaced now, have anyone done this before if so can you give me some tips and tell me how you have done it. I have a toyota avensis 2.2d T-spirit.

Ok guys I have manage to remove the linkage about 95%, I am struggeling with the two clips interlocking the cables close to the gearbox. the manual say to just un clip it but this is easier said then done, any help appreciated.
